Food Projects

If you’d like to take part in any of our Food projects we have summaries some below, or look further down and click through to full details on each project.

  • Become a Local Food & Drink Ambassador by becoming a member of the Local Food & Drink Forum Steering Group to support food initiatives through regular meetings or become a Local Food & Drink Champion to help raise awareness on the ground, liaise between businesses about local food initiatives.
  • Help run local food enterprise edibLE16. Roles include: Steering Group Member; Social Media Group Volunteer; Saturday Morning Pick-Up Volunteer and Professional Skill Volunteer (such as accounting, sales and marketing).   • Learn how to grow fruit and vegetables or come and share your gardening skills with others at Waterloo Cottage Farm Community Garden as a Community Garden Grower. You could also help form plans, raise awareness and organise events by becoming a Friend of Waterloo Cottage Farm Community Garden.
